Dark, textured, refined. This necklace features an intricate openwork pendant carved from black wood, its bold, tribal motif adding depth against the multiple strands of matte black seed beads. The layered beads give the piece texture and presence, while the adjustable clasp ensures a comfortable fit. A quiet statement, this necklace brings grace and edge to both everyday looks and nighttime ensembles.

Welcome to Ohana Creations
Aloha! I’m Genelle Gliem, founder of Ohana Creations.
Born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, I carry my Hawaiian heritage close to my heart. It’s the spirit of aloha and ʻohana—love and family—that inspires everything I create.
Over the years, my journey has taken me from Hawaiʻi to Colorado and now to Minnesota, where my husband and I have raised two incredible sons over the past 30+ years. What began as a way to stay connected with loved ones—capturing sports games, theater performances, and band concerts through photography—soon blossomed into something more.
That creative spark grew into Ohana Creations: a space where memories are transformed into meaningful keepsakes. I began designing custom jewelry and personalizing everything from mugs and doormats to keychains and ornaments using dye sublimation and laser engraving/etching. Each piece became a way to celebrate milestones, honor heritage, and share joy.
At the heart of Ohana Creations is a deep love for storytelling through craft. Every item is made with care, intention, and a profound respect for the people and moments it represents. Whether you're gifting a loved one or treating yourself, I hope you feel the warmth, connection, and aloha woven into every design.
