Aloha, my name is Genelle Gliem, the owner of Ohana Creations. As a native Hawaiian who grew up on the island of O'ahu, Hawai'i, I am proud of my Hawaiian heritage. Over the years, I've lived in Hawai'i, Colorado and Minnesota — along the way raising two sons with my husband of more than 30 years. It's through my sons that Ohana Creations got its start. As my boys grew, they became involved in sports, and theater and band performances. Since my family lived in Hawai'i, I began taking pictures of these activities to share with them. Over time, I found photography to be a creative outlet, and began taking senior and family portraits. Then I was introduced to the world of dye sublimation printing and vinyl. I quickly realized the endless possibilities and began making personalized mugs, shirts, socks, doormats, plaques — you name it. I created these items from the photos that I took, or from photos, graphics or text that family or friends provided. ​My love of personalizing gifts and seeing the joy these gifts bring those who receive them is the essence of Ohana Creations.
